National Pan-Hellenic Council

National Pan-Hellenic Council, also known as NPHC, was founded on May 10, 1930 at Howard University in Washington, D.C. It is composed of the nine historically African-American fraternities and sororities (also known as the Divine Nine). At Ohio University, we are home to six of them.

Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. was founded on January 9, 1914. They were founded at Howard University in Washington, D.C.
