Alpha Gamma Delta was founded at Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York on May 30, 1904. The Zeta chapter was founded at Ohio University in 1908. Their motto is "Loving. Leading. Lasting."
Alpha Gamma Delta, also known as AGD or Alpha Gam, proudly serves The Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation as its philanthropy. OHIO's chapter hosts multiple philanthropy events each semester such as ADDillas and Hot Cocoa for Hunger.
Alpha Gamma Delta's symbol is the pearl, their colors are red, buff, and green, and their flower is the rose.
Their values are leadership, scholarship, service, and sisterhood.
An Alpha Gamma Delta tradition is their Rose Ball, which is a formal hosted in the spring where they also raise money for their philanthropy.
