Inspiring Women to Realize Their Potential
Alpha Xi Delta was founded at Lombard College in Galesburg, Illinois on April 4, 1893. The Pi chapter was founded at Ohio University in 1911. Their motto is "Inspiring Women to Realize Their Potential".
Alpha Xi Delta also known as Fuzzie or AXiD, has proudly served the The Kindly Hearts Initiative as its philanthropy. OHIO's chapter hosts multiple philanthropy events throughout each semester such as Fuzzie Football, Taco Tuesday, and Rose Ball.
Alpha Xi Delta's symbol is the quill, their colors are double blue and gold, and their flower is the pink rose.
Their values are sisterhood, knowledge, service, and leadership.
An Alpha Xi Delta tradition is their senior sleepover where all the seniors come to the house to have a sleepover during their last semester!
