Friends and Leaders for Life

Pi Beta Phi was founded at Monmouth College in Monmouth, Illinois on April 28, 1867. The Ohio Alpha chapter was founded at Ohio University in 1889. Their motto is "Friends and Leaders for Life". 

Pi Beta Phi, also known as Pi Phi, proudly serves Read, Lead, Achieve as its philanthropy. OU's chapter hosts multiple philanthropy events each semester such as Lattes and Literacy and Pie a Pi Phi!  

Pi Beta Phi's symbol is the arrow, their colors are wine and silver blue, and their flower is the wine carnation. 

Their values are integrity, lifelong commitment, honor and respect, personal and intellectual growth, philanthropic service to others, sincere friendship. 

A Pi Beta Phi  tradition is their spring formal!
